Surface gravity comparison between dwarf and giant templates of Figure 8 shown in the expanded regions. The left panel shows the region around the Mg b/MgH feature (∼5200 Å), the middle panel shows the region around the Na I D lines (∼5900 Å), and the right panel shows an expanded region around the Ca II triplet. All of these lines are known to be sensitive to log g, which was confirmed in our templates.
