The mock images of 40 random-selected CSSs at the last snapshot (z = 0.17) in NewHorizon. The samples with two circles are those that are heavily stripped as discussed in the text. The magenta circles show 1 R eff in the final stage. The green circles show the 0.1 ﹩{R}_{\max }﹩ if the sample is formed by tidal stripping, where ﹩{R}_{\max }﹩ is the half-mass radius when the sample was the most massive in its history. The stellar mass inside 3 R eff is also given.
