Similar to Figure 3, we show gas density snapshots at t = 0.3 for A122Edd1 (first column), A122Edd1_R45 (second column), and A122Edd1_R45_N80 (third column). Here A122Edd1 is the fiducial simulation, A122Edd1_R45 has one level lower of SMR compared to the fiducial simulation, and A122Edd1_R45_N80 has one level lower of SMR but a higher angular resolution for radiation transfer. In each column, the upper panel shows the volume averaged from ϕ = 1.56 to 1.59 near the θ = π/2 plane, and the lower panel shows the volume averaged from θ = 2.52 to 2.55 near the mid-ϕ plane. The green solid line shows the same average for the photosphere radius R _τ=1 as defined in Equation (9).
