WISE–AKARI three-color mosaicked images of HB 3 at WISE 3.4 μm (in blue), WISE 4.6 μm (in green), and AKARI 160 μm (in red). The 4.6 μm (in green) filaments are along the 160 μm cold clouds from the east to the south of HB 3, indicating that WISE 4.6 μm emission is shocked H₂ gas from interacting with cold and dense clouds. The northeastern H₂ filament is marked as an arrow (see Table 3.)
