Synthetic IR spectra of C₂H₂ (vermilion), Fe₁₂–C₂H₂ (black), and Fe₁₃–C₂H₂ (sky blue). The peak attributed to the CCH bend of C₂H₂ is redshifted by 2.6 and 1.5 μm, respectively, in Fe₁₂–C₂H₂(λ ∼ 15.8 μm) and Fe₁₃–C₂H₂(λ ∼ 14.7μm).
