﹩B/V/I﹩ Hα (=b/g/r) three-color HST image of 30 Doradus, spanning ﹩2^{\prime} \times 2^{\prime} ﹩, centered near R136. North is up and east is to the left, with the scale bar at the lower left indicating ﹩20^{\prime\prime} ﹩. At the distance to the LMC, ﹩20^{\prime\prime} \,\approx ﹩ 5 pc. R136 is visible as the bright star cluster at α = 05h42m and δ = −69°06′. The white dashed rectangle marks the boundary of the stapler nebula discussed in this work. CO(2–1) contours are shown in white, with the beam size given by the lower left circle. The emission is integrated over the velocity range of 235–270 km s−1. Contour levels are from 0.8 to 2.4 K km s−1 in steps of 0.4 K km s−1 and from 3.2 to 10 K km s−1 in steps of 0.8 K km s−1.
