The middle column shows contours for a long-lived HMNS with a lifetime of ∼100 ms, surrounded by a dynamical tours with a mass of 10−2 M of neutron-rich material observed at a viewing angle of θ ∼ 18° as modeled by Kasen et al. (2014). The rightmost column shows the effect of an early-time neutron precursor as modeled by Metzger et al. (2015).
