Rise time–﹩{m}_{z}^{\star }﹩ slice of our phase space. The slower evolution of SNe Ia is apparent. For the remaining contaminants the observed change in flux is comparable to that observed for kilonovae. The rise times exhibited by both the kilonovae and contaminant populations are also comparable, but only contaminants show a rise time ≳5 days.
