Distribution of magnitude distances from the red isochrone of Figure 4 for stream stars in field (a) and within the color range 0.5 < (g − i)₀ < 0.7. The error bars on the histogram counts correspond to Poissonian uncertainties. The red line corresponds to the best fit model of the sum of a slope to represent the contamination and a Gaussian to represent the stream stars. The Gaussian has a width δμ = 0.23 mag.
