Distribution of log(RUWE) for stars adopted as members of the Upper Sco association by Luhman et al. (2018) that have parallax measurements from Gaia DR2 (histogram). RUWE characterizes the quality of the astrometric fit for a given star (Lindegren 2018). We treat astrometry for stars with RUWE < 1.6 as reliable.
