Detection efficiency improvement of the phase-correlation method as compared to a direct search is shown for a threshold of τ = 8.4 broken down by injected transit orbital period and transit depth. This data is from the phase-correlation injection verification tests described in Section 2.4.3. The phase-correlation method demonstrated no marked loss in detection efficiency for weak signals.
