The triangle symbols represent interacting or disturbed galaxies (NGC 3031, NGC 4449, NGC 5194, NGC 5457, and NGC 3077). The open circle symbols represent galaxies with starbursts or mild active galactic nucleus activity (NGC 1569, NGC 3521, and NGC 3627). The star symbols indicate non-interacting galaxies that have an anomalously high velocity dispersion (NGC 7331 and NGC 2841). The rest of the galaxies are represented by the filled circle symbols.
