Stacked color–magnitude diagram of 23 Galactic GCs (see Section 4). The UV-bright population composed by candidate post-He-core burning at ( M _FUV– M _NUV) ~ 0 and M _FUV ≲ 2 is clearly seen in this stack. Redder stars brighter than the HB are likely to be predominantly background sources. The blue stragglers can also be very clearly spotted in this diagram, below the redder half of the HB.
