Demonstration of our clump‐finding algorithm. Snapshots of dark matter (left column), gas (middle column), and star (right column) particles at ﹩z=2﹩ are shown. From top to bottom, we show particles with three different criteria: all particles of each component (top row), the particles in the clumps that are detected by SKID (middle row), and the residual particles (bottom row). To highlight structures in the halo, we plot the particles with weighted brightnesses proportional to the local densities of the particles.
