Mean charge and energy spectrum of Fe ions escaping into the interplanetary medium for model 1 at different scenarios of particle injection into the shock acceleration. A mixed scenario (histograms) suggests that a portion of previously accelerated particles is 20% (﹩a=0.2﹩). Cases ﹩a=0﹩ and ﹩a=1﹩, respectively, correspond to the absence of the previously accelerated component and to the injection of all particles being previously accelerated. The minimum energy of previously accelerated ions, ﹩E_{\mathrm{min}\,}﹩, is 1 MeV nucleon−1 for ﹩a=1﹩ and 0.1 MeV nucleon−1 for ﹩a=0.2﹩, at equal injection spectra above 1 MeV nucleon−1.
