Magenta arrows point to the radar tail. Orange solid lines in panel (b) indicate the tail width, measured near the crater, at the midpoint, and toward the distal end. The dashed green lines in panel (c) illustrate the orientation of representative radar tails used to calculate the angle between the radar tail direction and the direction toward Tycho (i.e., the expected downrange direction from the primary impact).
