The magnitude of a high-resolution transverse 2D field as might be used in the AC model, with (δB/B0) = 1, B0 = 0.1 nT (not added to the field shown in the figure), and f2D = 67%. The spectral form employed for this field is discussed in Section 2.5. Note the similarities with Figure 3, which depicts a 25% compressive field.
