2D projections of a transversally enhanced (Z = 25%) turbulent field magnitude with the same parameters as for the isotropic projection shown in Figure 1, and spectral forms discussed in Section 2.5. As in Figure 2, the projection in the xy-plane is shown in the left panel, with the zy-projection in the panel on the right. The 8% reduction in compressibility from the isotropic scenario results in the transverse 2D component of the field being emphasized; see also Figure 4.
