Comparison of the SW speed time series obtained from Lm2Md with those from Lm2Rd and the IPS-based WawHelioIon3D for individual heliolatitudinal bands (with latitudes displayed in the upper right corner of each panel). The equatorial band is not displayed because it is taken directly from the OMNI2 time series. The plot shows a huge similarity between the reconstructions of V_sw in the equatorial bands between the modified and reduced proxy sets despite the lower number of hemisphere-dependent proxies in the reduced proxy set.
