Projected orbits of PSR J0435+3233 and its companions along the line of sight (based on the final timing solution A). The two black dots indicate the barycenters of the inner and outer orbits. The pulsar and the inner WD companion revolve clockwise around the inner barycenter with a period of 8 days, while the inner binary as a whole revolves clockwise around the triple-system barycenter with a period of about 73.5 yr. The line-of-sight (LoSp) is indicated by black arrows starting from the system’s barycenters. The orbits shown here are the apparent orbits projected along the line of sight (the true orbital separation multiplied by ﹩\sin i﹩). The red star marks the pulsar position at the epoch Tasc1 = MJD 59997.48 (as listed in Table 1), the blue dot marks the position of the inner WD companion, and the orange dot marks the position of the outer star companion. The two gray dotted–dashed lines connect the orbits’ periastrons. The magenta line indicates the motion of the inner binary barycenter during the FAST data span, while the thick gray line indicates its motion during the long Fermi data span.
