Stellar bar length evolution in cosmological simulations. Bar radius as a function of simulation time, as derived via the Dehnen–Fourier method (see Section 3.1). The GN20 bar radius (﹩{R}_{{\rm{bar}}/{\phi }_{2}}﹩, derived consistently) matches most closely with the simulations with high gas fractions (fgas = 60% and 40%).
