Caption: Figure 1.

Holmberg IX imaged at GALEX FUV, Swift-UVOT UVW1, BTA Hα narrow band, and BTA Scanning FPI Hα channel (from left to right). The images are displayed with their original PSF (top row) and after convolution into the common GALEX NUV PSF (bottom row). In each of the images, cyan ellipse represents the photometric aperture for the main body of the galaxy as a whole (described in Section 2.4); yellow and magenta circles mark locations of foreground stars and the position of HoIX X-1, respectively; the scale ruler at the bottom left corner in each panel indicates the 1﹩\mathop{.}\limits^{{\rm{^{\prime} }}}﹩0 length; north is up, and east is to the left.
