Caption: Figure 4.
Circular polarization of the radio burst observed by SolO/RPW/TDS. The top panel shows the ratio of the Stokes parameters ﹩V=-i\left[{E}_{y}{E}_{z}^{* }-{({E}_{y}{E}_{z}^{* })}^{* }\right]﹩ and ﹩I={E}_{y}{E}_{y}^{* }+{E}_{z}{E}_{z}^{* }﹩ versus time and frequencies, and the second panel shows the frequency integrated ratio over 167–195 kHz. A negative value indicates a right-handed circular polarization, meaning that the electric field is rotating clockwise when looking in the direction of propagation. The line near 115 kHz is due to spacecraft interference. The third panel shows the phase difference between Ey and Ez for each frequency within the same frequency range but with a 2 kHz resolution.
