Blc and ﹩\dot{E}﹩ as a function of pulsar period for pulsars in the ATNF pulsar catalog (version 2.6.1). 19 pulsars reported to emit GPs are indicated by red stars; PSR J1227−4853 is highlighted with a green triangle. The GP-emitting pulsars occupy three apparent groupings: recycled MSPs with high Blc, young pulsars with high Blc, and pulsars with comparatively low Blc (and ﹩\dot{E}﹩).
