Vmix vs. U kinematic distribution for each MC bin in our classification scheme. Each panel contains the kinematic distribution of the cleaned sample of stars (gray) and the kinematic distribution for a singular MC bin (colored points), which is labeled in the bottom left of each panel. The most metal-rich stars are in red at the top left, and the most metal-poor stars are in purple at the bottom right. The metal-rich stars primarily exist at low velocities consistent with the thin disk of the Galaxy, and the metal-poor stars have high velocities consistent with the Galactic thick disk and halo. We see the expected agreement between metallicity and kinematics with our template classifications.
