In the case of NGC 4258, logarithmic RGB LF in color slices from (F090W − F150W)0 = 1.4 (bottom) to 1.7 (top). The number of stars included in the MLE calculation for each slice is shown on the left. The fitted TRGB magnitudes are displayed in the center numerically and as red dots, while the corresponding slice colors are shown on the right. Orange vertical segments at F090W = 25.01 record the TRGB values given by G. S. Anand et al. (2024a).
