Projected ionized gas surface density distributions of the same turbulent cloud of M GMC = 107 M at four mass resolutions (from left to right, m gas = 10, 100, 103, and 104 M , respectively) evolved with our clustered-feedback prescription (top row) and with the standard formalism for star formation and feedback (bottom row). The red markers represent the star clusters in the top, and single stellar population particles in the bottom row, respectively, and are scaled by their mass. Black markers in the top row indicate sinks without stellar populations, i.e., representing dense clumps of gas.
