Reconstructions, residuals, and residual errors with respect to ground-truth images of select channels using NMF. The residual images were generated by taking the difference of the ground-truth image and corresponding reconstruction. The residual error for the channel map of G34.30 is 10% of the maximum signal intensity, for LkCa 15 it is 30%, for the IRC+10216 12 m and 7 m channels 40%, and for B33 20%.
