PCA reconstructions, residuals, and residual errors with respect to ground-truth images of select channels from the (a) G34.30 and (b) LkCa 15 datasets. The residual images were generated by taking the difference of the ground-truth image and corresponding reconstruction. The residual error for channels 320 and 2966 in G34.30 is 10% of the maximum signal intensity, whereas the residual error for channel 3547 of G34.30 and channels 1571 and 1572 of LkCa 15 is 40% of the maximum signal intensity.
