Measured atmospheric abundances in WASP-178b from J. D. Lothringer et al. (2025a; transparent gray points representing posterior range) compared to the best-fit chemical equilibrium solution at [M/H] = 0.70, C/O = 0.002, and Refr./Vol. of −1.33 (blue crosses). We assume a temperature of 3300 K and pressure of 0.001 bars for the chemical equilibrium fit, consistent with the retrieved isothermal temperature structure.
