Signal-to-noise ratio per frame pair. Triangles pointing to the left indicate frame pairs observed during the first night, and crosses mark the second night. Blue and magenta colors indicate homogeneous pairs, whereas red and green colors indicates heterogeneous combinations. A clear pattern emerges, where the average S/N is higher for homogeneous pairs. We prefer a more stable S/N because our postprocessing algorithm can more easily remove quasi-stationary components.
