Histograms of [C/N] vs. Galactocentric radius for pre-dredge-up subgiants binned by [Fe/H]. The location of the distribution is different for each [Fe/H] bin, due to the [C/N]–[Fe/H] relation. There is no apparent trend in the [C/N]–[Fe/H] relation over the examined range. However, the range we can examine the [C/N] variation is limited to 2 kpc by the lower luminosity of subgiants.
