Production ratios of 6Li/Be, B/Be, and 7Li/6Li from spallation and α‐α reactions according to Ramaty et al. (1996). The curves are labeled by the assumed composition of the cosmic rays (see text): SS = solar system, CRS = cosmic ray source composition, SN35 = predicted composition of ejecta of a Type II supernova of 35 M, SN60 = predicted composition of ejecta of a Type supernova of 60 M, WC = composition of a Wolf‐Rayet WC star, and GR = composition of interstellar grains. At the right are marked the observed abundance ratios 6Li/Be and B/Be of meteorites and the halo stars. The meteoritic and halo 7Li/6Li ratios are not marked because the dominant source of 7Li is not cosmic ray interactions.
