Bottom: (a) The ARC2 corrected light curve for KOI-1416, after excising the transits, with an inset displaying a subset of the Kepler data. (b) The posterior distribution for the Gaussian process period, which we interpret as a measurement of the stellar rotation period. This is an example system where the variability is different from the measured orbital period.
