Comparison of gravitational fields obtained from ﹩{g}_{\mathrm{diff}}﹩ and ﹩{g}_{\mathrm{Gauss}}﹩ in two MESA test suite cases. The two lines representing the Sun (﹩\mathrm{age}=4.57\;\mathrm{Gyr}﹩) show good agreement, while the two lines representing a ﹩1.5\;{{\rm{M}}}_{\odot }﹩ star disagree in regions with large convective flux where diffusion is inconsequential.
