Posterior distribution for the inferred disruption time. The gray region shows the region of parameter space corresponding to there being no disruption as the sampled disruption time takes place after the binary coalescence. This is ruled out at over 90% confidence in this simulation. The disruption time is constrained to within 0.5 ms (90% credibility).
