This figure illustrates the distinct structures of star-forming and quiescent galaxies, with Re decreasing and n increasing when moving from the star-forming to the quiescent sequence. Furthermore, size increases when moving up the quiescent sequence, with post-starburst galaxies being significantly smaller than all other galaxy types.
