Repeatability of our equivalent width measurements when using the same instrument for both observations (magenta points) or different instruments for each observation (navy points). The 75 data points plotted here are the EW measured for five Mg and Al features in 30 spectra of 15 candidate low-mass dwarfs (two observations per star). Eight stars were later classified as cool dwarfs (large circles; spectral types K7, M0, and M1) and seven were classified as hotter dwarfs (small points). For reference, the gray dashed line marks zero difference between the two EW measurements.
