Bottom: spins of the same AGNs. 30%–40% of low luminosity sources ( L bol ~ 10 40 erg s −1) are genuinely inefficient accretors. Sources with L bol > 10 44 erg s −1 are powered by efficient accretors and spin solely determines their radiative efficiency.
