Rate coefficient of H ₂ formation for PAHs of different size depending on the ratio n _t / χ of total hydrogen density to UV field intensity in units of Draine. The factor f = 2 /n _t is chosen to be equal to 0.5 and the temperature is set to 100 K. These two factors were found not to be critical and changing them does not significantly alter the shape of the curves.
