The V_GSR velocities as a function of proper motion, μ_ℓ, for the fields at positive (top) and negative (bottom) longitudes. Whereas the positive high-V_GSR stars have proper motions offset from the rest of the bulge, this is not the case for the negative high-V_GSR stars.
