The proper motion distribution for globular cluster stars in APOGEE selected using radial velocity, metallicity, and distance from the cluster center. The formal errors on the proper motions as reported by Gaia are indicated by thin gray lines and are typically smaller than the size of the symbols. The Gaia EDR3 proper motions are stable also in crowded bulge regions, e.g., within 2.5 degrees from the plane of the Galaxy.
