Discovery images of HD 18378 B. Both IRDIS and IFS data are reduced using a principal component analysis algorithm to remove stellar speckles, and only the central portion of the data is shown. The companion is clearly visible to the right of the star, which is behind an occulting mask in the center of the image. The point to the north of the star in the 2016 September 15 IFS data is due to flux persistence from a previous observation, and is not astrophysical in nature.
