Variation of the total intensity, the position angle (circles, middle row) and the degree of the polarization (solid line, bottom) as a function of the rotational phase. For reference, the light curve is overplotted in middle and bottom panels (dashed lines). To compare with the observed pulse profiles of Kuiper et al. (2001), the results were obtained by integrating the photons within the energy interval 1–10 eV (left), 0.1–2.4 keV (middle column), and 20–100 keV (right). The model parameters are ﹩\alpha =50^{\circ }﹩, ﹩\xi =100^{\circ }﹩, ﹩r_{\mathrm{in}\,}=0.67r_{n}﹩, and ﹩a_{f}=1﹩.
