The dash‐dotted line represents the mass‐radius relation of ﹩M\propto R^{2.33}﹩ for star cluster complexes in M51 (Bastian et al. 2005). The spiral galaxies possess old star clusters that are similar in size and luminosity to the DSCs in our sample.
