Spatial distribution of red (﹩g-z> 1.0﹩), diffuse cluster candidates around galaxies with significant excesses. While some of the objects are in the background, the large majority are likely star clusters. For obviously inclined or elliptical galaxies, it is possible to see that the spatial distribution of the clusters appears to follow the underlying galaxy light. The VCC numbers of the galaxies are shown in the lower left.
