Same as Fig. 1, but here we attempt to reproduce a ﹩c=10﹩ NFW halo. Starting with our reference halo (§ 4.3), we reduced the amplitudes of the random velocities of particles that ended up roughly between 0.1﹩R_{\mathrm{vir}\,}﹩ and 1﹩R_{\mathrm{vir}\,}﹩. The SAM distribution of this halo (dashed histogram in the bottom left panel) is similar to that of N‐body halo 081 (van den Bosch et al. 2002). See § 4.4 for details.
