Energy spectrum of Cyg X‐1 from 1 keV to 500 keV. The 1–20 keV data are from the Ginga ASM averaged over 4.5 yr. The 20–500 keV data are from SMM HXRBS observations in 1987–1988. The best‐fit unsaturated Comptonization model is also plotted by a histogram.
