Caption: Figure 1.
Relative uncertainty (1 ﹩\sigma ﹩) of the weighted mean LOS magnetic field ﹩\left\langle {B}_{\parallel }\right\rangle ﹩ as a function of RCP SNR at a fixed SEP angle of 90° (left) and as a function of SEP angle at a fixed RCP SNR of 60 dB (right) across various radio configurations. The SNR of the LCP signal was assumed to be 20 dB lower than that of the RCP signal. The magnetic field magnitude and TEC were set to 100 μT and ﹩1.0\times {10}^{20}\,{{\rm{m}}}^{-2}﹩, respectively. Because ﹩{\sigma }_{I}=0﹩ in Figure 1, the plotted ﹩{\sigma }_{\left\langle {B}_{\parallel }\right\rangle }/\left\langle {B}_{\parallel }\right\rangle ﹩ equals ﹩{\sigma }_{{\rm{RM}}}/{\rm{RM}}﹩ (26).
