Caption: Figure 5.

Left: histogram of the number of known objects expected within all subfields combined, with bins of 0.5 in V magnitude, as reported by the Skybot system. Objects expected in multiple subfields and/or detected by SALTAD in multiple subfields are included more than once. Four instances of an object in a subfield with Skybot-estimated V magnitude = 0, representing three unique comets, are assumed to be inaccurate values and are excluded. Skybot-reported objects are shown in pink, whereas the fraction of those detected by SALTAD at any MLE level are shown in green. As expected, SALTAD appears to preferentially detect brighter objects. Right: known object completeness as a function of MLE, i.e., percentage of known objects detected that have an MLE (i.e., S/N) above the MLEs shown on the x-axis. Our chosen cutoff at 8.3 dB yields an 83% completeness.
